Dear all,
The St. Andrews Junior College Concert Band is here again to bring
you an evening of musical delights! We will be staging our public
concert, Saints e Muzica, which will once again be a promising
one. We will be performing a wide range of music, from Broadway
Musical to some contemporary band classics! This is definitely a
concert not to be missed!
This concert is specially put up by our band members. Besides the
normal performance you see in public concerts, the band will also
engage themselves in a musical for the 2nd half, fully coordinated
by our very own members. The more than 80-strong band will come
together as one, to bring you our biggest production of the year,
probably the first in Singapore! The approximately 40-minute long
musical, consists of 30 over excerpts taken from all over the
world. Some of which include Lady
Marmalade, Aladdin, Anastasia, Once Upon A Dream, Tonight I
Celebrate My Love, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Memory,
etc. Also, not forgetting some exciting band music such as
Godzilla Eats Las Vegas!
and many, many more. Be sure to experience an evening of romance,
excitement, fun and laughter!
We will be featuring some wonderful music for our 1st half of the
concert. Pieces include, The
Phantom of the Opera (arr. Johan de Meij), Leonesse and Jericho (both by Bert Appermont),
American Graffiti XII and
Glenn Miller Medley (both
arr. Naohiro Iwai) as well as the popular Bohemian Rhapsody!
